ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗೆ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕವಾಗಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ₹2,50,000 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ; ಫುಲ್ ರೈಡ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನವನ್ನು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ
ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (NITK), ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್, 2025–26 ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ Groww ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದೆ. Groww, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸೇವಾ ವೇದಿಕೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿ.ಟೆಕ್ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ 200 ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ದುರ್ಬಲ ವರ್ಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನವನ್ನು ಎರಡು ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವೆಲ್ ಬೀಯಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ — ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ₹70,000 — 190 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ (158 ಪುರುಷರು ಮತ್ತು 32 ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು) ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರುತ್ತದೆ. ಫುಲ್ ರೈಡ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ — ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ₹2,50,000 — 10 ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಟ್ಯೂಷನ್ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಫುಲ್ ರೈಡ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಅಲ್ಪಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿತ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಆದಾಯದ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವೆಲ್ ಬೀಯಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ CGPA 6.0 ಮತ್ತು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಆದಾಯ ₹1 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಫುಲ್ ರೈಡ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ CGPA 6.5 ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಆದಾಯ ₹1 ಲಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ₹8 ಲಕ್ಷದೊಳಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 75% ಹಾಜರಾತಿ ಕಾಪಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆದಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳು, ಗ್ರೇಡ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಜರಾತಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರವೇ ನಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Groww ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು NITK ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಉದ್ಯಮ‑ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು 2025–26 ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಮುಂದುವರಿಕೆ Groww ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ ಮತ್ತು NITK ಸುರತ್ಕಲ್ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

NITK Surathkal and Groww Partner to Support 200 Undergraduate Engineering Students for FY 2025–26
Programme provides scholarships up to ₹2,50,000 per student annually, with Full Ride awards reserved exclusively for women in engineering
Surathkal, Karnataka: The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal is pleased to announce the award of the Groww Scholarship Programme for the financial year 2025–26, under which Groww, the financial services platform, has funded scholarships for 200 undergraduate engineering students. The programme provides financial support to students from economically weaker sections across all B.Tech disciplines at the Institute.
Support is provided under two categories. The Well Being Scholarship of ₹70,000 per annum, awarded to 190 students — 158 male and 32 female — covers living expenses. The Full Ride Scholarship of ₹2,50,000 per annum, awarded to 10 female students, covers tuition fees and living expenses in full. The decision to direct the Full Ride award exclusively to women reflects a shared focus on addressing the underrepresentation of women in technical education.
Students are selected on the basis of academic performance and verified household income. The Well Being Scholarship requires a minimum CGPA of 6.0 and annual household income below ₹1 lakh. The Full Ride Scholarship requires a minimum CGPA of 6.5 and household income between ₹1 lakh and ₹8 lakh. All candidates must maintain attendance above 75 per cent. Income certificates, grade cards, and attendance records are verified before disbursement.
The Groww Scholarship Programme is part of a broader industry engagement model at NITK Surathkal, where organisations invest directly in student welfare alongside the Institute’s academic and research partnerships. The programme runs for FY 2025–26, with continuation subject to Groww’s review and criteria notified by NITK Surathkal.
