I am deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Suraj M. N. Hegde. His passing is a great loss to the Congress family and to all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
A dedicated leader, humble human being, and an exceptional organizer, Suraj ji always listened to party workers with patience, sincerity, and warmth. His commitment to strengthening the organization and his unwavering dedication to the ideals of the Congress Party earned him immense respect and affection.
His simplicity, leadership, and close bond with grassroots workers will remain an inspiration to many. With his passing, we have lost a capable organizer, a trusted guide, and a dear friend.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and countless admirers. May the Almighty grant them strength during this difficult time and may his noble soul rest in eternal peace.
