ದೋಹಾ: ಕತಾರ್ನ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ (ಐಸಿಸಿ) ಅಂಗಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ‘ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಘ ಕತಾರ್’ (ಕೆಎಸ್ಕ್ಯು) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ 2026-28ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ನೂತನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಯು, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಘನತೆವೆತ್ತ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಪುಲ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಾಯಭಾರ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೌಜನ್ಯದ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿತು. ನೂತನ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿಯ ಆರಂಭದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಭೆಯು ಉಭಯ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂತು.
ನಿಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಪುಲ್ ಅವರು, ನೂತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಮಾತುಕತೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಬೇರುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸುವ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕತಾರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನಿವಾಸಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕತಾರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು ಇಂದಿನ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ನೆರವು, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಥಿಕ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪರಿಗಣನೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ರಾಯಭಾರಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಪುಲ್ ಅವರು ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಗಟ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಪುಲ್ ಅವರು, ಕತಾರ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ನಡುವೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಪಡಿಸಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವಿನಿಮಯಗಳು ಉಭಯ ದೇಶಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಗೌರವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುದೀರ್ಘ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಸಂಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಆಳವಾಗಿಸಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆಶಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ತಮಗೆ ಲಭಿಸಿದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಸಲಹೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಘದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಬ್ರಮಣ್ಯ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ರಾಯಭಾರಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಪುಲ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಶಲ್ಯ ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ನೆನಪಿನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.

DOHA: The newly elected Management Committee of Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) for the 2026–28 term, led by President Mr. Subramanya Hebbagelu, paid a formal courtesy visit to His Excellency Mr. Vipul, the Ambassador of India to Qatar, at the embassy premises recently. The high-level meeting marked the commencement of the committee’s official tenure and set a collaborative tone for upcoming diaspora welfare initiatives.
Welcoming the newly formed executive team, His Excellency Mr. Vipul extended his warm congratulations on their appointment. During the extensive discussion, the Ambassador placed a strong emphasis on cultural preservation, specifically urging the committee to actively spearhead the growth and promotion of the Kannada language among the diaspora living in Qatar.
Recognizing the challenges faced by non-resident Indian families in keeping youth connected to their roots, His Excellency Mr. Vipul guided KSQ to focus heavily on grassroots educational efforts. He advised the committee to strategically highlight these local language initiatives to the Government of Karnataka. This step, he noted, would be instrumental in securing dedicated institutional support and special educational considerations for diaspora children.
Crucially, His Excellency Mr. Vipul also emphasized the importance of building stronger local ties, advising the committee to actively reach out and showcase the rich heritage of Indian culture within the local Qatari community. He noted that such cultural diplomacy plays a vital role in deepening the mutual respect and long-standing friendship between the two nations.
The KSQ delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the Ambassador for his insightful guidance. As a traditional mark of respect, President Mr. Subramanya Hebbagelu and the committee members honored His Excellency Mr. Vipul with a ceremonial shawl and a commemorative memento, reaffirming their commitment to building a strong cultural bridge over the next two years.
