*Under the chairmanship of Sri Mohammed Mohsin, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education Department (Health & Family Welfare), Government of Karnataka*, a high-level meeting was held at the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council office. The meeting was attended by *Dr. U. T. Ifthikar Fareed, Chairman, Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Council, Government of Karnataka; Dr. Sujatha Rathod, Director of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka*; along with senior officials and council members.
The discussions focused on key policy matters, academic reforms, and upcoming developmental initiatives in the Allied and Healthcare sector, with a forward-looking vision towards 2026. Emphasis was laid on strengthening education standards, enhancing institutional capacity, workforce development, and aligning training frameworks with the future healthcare needs of the state.
The meeting reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing quality education and building a robust, skilled allied healthcare workforce to support Karnataka’s growing healthcare ecosystem.
