ICC felicitates teachers on Teachers’ Day
Indian Cultural Centre, under the aegis of the Embassy of India, hosted a felicitation ceremony on the eve of Teachers’ Day to honor 46 long-serving teachers nominated by 17 CBSE schools.
The ceremony was hosted in ICC Ashoka Hall and Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, graced the occasion by his presence. School Principals, teachers, students and parents were present on this occasion.
Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, Head of School Activities at ICC, explained the concept of this program. ICC’s General Secretary, Mr. Mohan Kumar, welcomed the audience. ICC’s President Mr. A.P. Manikantan highlighted the contribution of teachers in the success of these students.
Mr. Sandeep Kumar appreciated the teachers for their contribution and hoped that their efforts would be acknowledged by society in general. Various cultural programs were held on this occasion. ICC’s Vice President Mr. Subramanya Hebbagilu gave away Vote of Thanks.
