SDPI has condemned Shoba Karandlaje’s communal and imprudent comments.

Banglore May 20: SDPI State Vice President Majeed Khan has taken strong objection and condemned Shoba Karandlaje’s malicious and fictious allegations that churches are Campaigning against the vaccination drive.

The BJP govt has failed miserably in all the aspects, right from providing beds to respectfull final rituals of the deceased. Fed up with the miserable failure of the govt’s service to covid patients and other basic amenities, people are expressing vent and anger everyday.

As usual the distractive tactics of the Sangh Parivaar is in motion, and is unleashed by the venom spewing Member of Parliament Shoba Karandlaje to distract the citizens from their drastic failure.

Shoba Karandlaje should first insist on bringing to book the leaders of BJP who were caught in the theft and misuse of oxygen, vaccines and other covid related amenities.

The situation in her constituency is pathetic, the people are deprived of even a square meal. Instead of taking care of their needs as an elected representative she is back to her antics of spreading communal hatred.
Mr Majeed Khan has urged and demanded to apologize to the Christian community and take back her venomous words..

Congress leader Ivan D’Souza files complaint

Mangaluru, May 20: Congress leader and former MLC Ivan D’Souza on Thursday filed a complaint against Udupi- Chikkamagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje for making a false statement that leaders of the Christian community are advising believers not to take the vaccine against Covid-19.

D’Souza said Karandlaje’s comment was a black spot on the democratic system in the country as she has accused the Christian community of being anti-national.

“The MP is trying to divide the society on the basis of religion and caste in order to safeguard her political interests and should be arrested immediately,” he said.

The complaint was filed with the city police commissioner and police inspector at Pandeshwar.

At a press conference at Chikkamagaluru on Wednesday, Karandlaje had reportedly said people are being advised in churches in the Malnad region not to receive the Covid vaccine.

She also said Catholics are not to be faulted on the matter, but Christian denominations like Pentecost are ‘misleading’ people and action should be taken against them.
